HOW THIS REGIONAL FINAL WILL RUN - PLEASE READ
I want to be the first to welcome you to the 2012 3v3 Live Rapids Mountain Championship July 20 - As this is a unique tournament format, I want to make sure we are all on the same page so there is no confusion.
This first part of the tournament will be similar to any other 3v3 Live event your team(s) have played in - The tournament will start in the morning on July 20th and go until 4:00 or so with all games except Championship matches ending at that time-
The Championship matches CAN be played on the STADIUM field the following Sat. (July 27th), after the Rapids match. - The matches will start around 9:30 or so - we will schedule the youngest divisions to play first on up to adult -
OR if BOTH teams agree without argument or arm twisting, we will have fields and referees available to go ahead and play the championship match on Sat (July 20th) afternoon in the flow of the tournament - IF you decide to play on the STADIUM field Sat. 27 - The matches will start around 9:30 or so - we will schedule the youngest divisions to play first on up to adult -
Please note - The Colorado Rapids are our Title Sponsor for this event and as such each team will receive 4 free tickets to the match - AND all players and spectators will need a ticket to participate in the final matches -
GOOD NEWS - IF you buy your Rapids tickets through Lionel - Additional tickets are available for family and friends at just $24 each. | Schedule | 3v3 Live Soccer is open to all players ages U6 to Adult and all skill levels Schedule will be posted the Thursday before your tournament |
| Trophy Tournament | Top 2 teams will each receive custom Trophies |
| Qualify for the Tournament of Champions | Top 4 teams in each division will qualify for the ELITE Division at the World Championships in Orlando FL -- ALL teams will qualify for the OPEN division at World Championships |
| Qualify for Disney 3v3 Soccer Championships | Teams that participate in a 3v3 Live Local event qualify for the OPEN division at the Disney 3v3 Soccer Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando FL Jan 17-20 2014 -- Teams must play and finish in the top 6 in your age group at a 3v3 LIVE Regional Championship to qualify for the ELITE division at the Disney 3v3 Soccer World Championships |
